"This evening event is not an invitation to acquire new knowledge, this is a collective space to witness what remains when our stories begin to dissolve. For years I have facilitated spaces through sound, ceremony, and presence, watching others experience shifts and awakenings. Yet I’ve often felt a certain shyness and hesitation to fully step into the gravity of the direct path and teachings of non-duality. Torch In The Dark answers that call.

I am not a guru, and I have no interest in being one. I’m certainly not a person who transfers energy and such. I am a human being inquiring deeply into the nature of my own existence, and I’m finding that as the inquiry deepens, the inquirer itself begins to subside.

​

The paradox of this work is that the 'me' doing it is precisely what eventually falls away. We spend our lives collecting identities, words, and forms, but the direct path is a no-nonsense movement toward what we were before we collected any of it. My own journey didn't begin with a grand pursuit of enlightenment; it began with the simple, desperate need to stay clean of drugs and alcohol, and 20 years later this is where I’ve landed.

From a point of being unable to function, I have watched layers of who I thought I was incrementally fall away. This process wasn't something I manufactured through willpower; it was a response to a silence that slowly became louder than the illusions surrounding me.

Torch In The Dark is a space curated for those who feel the stirrings of their own awakening and seek a sense of grounding within that transition. We will look toward the teachings of those who pointed directly at the truth not as academic subjects, but as mirrors for our own direct experience.

This is a still space where we will be able to sense into the silent tug of the eternal awareness we are ~ spirits that have fused with matter taking up residency in these bodies as human beings.

Direct Inquiry: Moving beyond intellectual understanding to the core of what we truly are.

Presence & Direct Transmission: A space where the silence is as communicative as the words spoken.

Radical Humility: A shared exploration where the teacher/student dynamic is replaced by a collective looking into the One.

There are a multitude of easier paths I could venture to walk in life yet none carry the weight or the necessity of this one. There’s a subtle commission by the quiet voice within that recognizes others are navigating these same waters. This is an offering to the greater collective and a space to move from the traffic of the mind and rest back into the clarity of what’s always been you looking out through these eyes of the One."
